Biography
| I am primarily a writer and musician but graphic design and photography are my "other arts" and I enjoy them very much. I have about 5 years of experience as a professional graphic designer and about 5 years of experience as a photographer (from the world of journalism). My photomanipulations range from the nostalgia-flavored to the abstract; I've been doing a lot of surreal pieces and self-portraits lately. As far as my photography, lately I've been fascinated with post-Katrina New Orleans, tree branches, eyes, and old buildings. If you see something you like but want another print size or another color matte around it, send me a message & I'll see what I can do to accommodate. Also, if you see something in my gallery that you like that's not available yet as a print, let me know about it. Thank you! |

- Four years as a photographer and page designer (among other things) at the Gazette-Enterprise, Seguin, TX.
- Two more years as an ad builder/graphic designer at the San Marcos Daily Record, while doing freelance ad and flyer design for local poets and bands.
